Frankie Wilson RIP
News Date 28/10/2022
This morning we received the sad news of the passing of Northern Ireland U18 manager Frankie Wilson.  His colleagues on the NISFA have posted the following tribute;

It is with the upmost sadness, that we have received the news this morning, of the death of our esteemed colleague and dear friend, Frankie Wilson. We extend heartfelt sympathy to his loving wife Tara and his beloved family and to assure them that they are very much in our thoughts and prayers.

Frankie, who has been taken so young, was greatly loved and respected by a huge number of friends, former players and students.

He was an outstanding individual, teacher, coach and mentor who taught us so much about dignity and respect. We are so much the poorer for his passing and we must always be thankful for knowing and working alongside him.

We salute Frankie for his incredible courage and for all he gave to us so generously and always with great passion and humour. Aren’t we all Blessed to have known him.

Rest well dear friend. Gone from us, but never to be forgotten.
