The 2023 Bob Docherty competition began today in Sunny Glasgow with Northern Ireland facing a strong England team and finding themselves on the wrong side of a 5-0 scoreline.  Abi Conway (2) Pheobe Cowley, Aoife Colbert-Martin  and Chloe Giddings were England's scorers.  
The Scottish girls took the game right to the wire equalising Ella Kelly's 52 minute strike in the third minute of overtime.  Amy Sharkey was the lass who was mobbed by her team mates.  The resulting penalty shoot out saw Scotland take the extra point after Alex Reid brough off an excellent save to give the hosts the advantage.  Finall score of shoot out RoI 2 Scotland 3
