Northern Ireland come out on top

In last nights Victory Shield game, Northern Ireland emerged as top dogs after a tight contest.
This evening match was played under lights and a very large and excited crowd. The game was won with two late Northern Ireland goals from Ciaran McGuckin and Sean Stewart.

The first half was goalless but the North took the lead on 63 minutes when Ross McCausland fired home from the edge of the area. The Republic responded within two minutes with an equaliser from Oliver O'Neill.
