The first round of games in this seasons competition were played today at the University of Ulster complex, Belfast.  The Republic put in a strong performance to overcome Scotland 4-0, England came with a late run to beat Northern Ireland A 2-1 whilst Wales came out on top with the only goal of the game against Northern Ireland B.
